Jane and I were walking along the beach at low tide and saw a guy digging something up out of the sand. He would notice a particular spot on the beach, bend over, push his finger into the sand and pull something up. We asked him what he was finding - so he showed us. They were clams, just about the size of a big walnut. He was planning to cook them later.
